How does it work?
Some items of clothing, such as gloves, and some coats and vests have their own built-in battery.
But most of the time the heated suits are connected to an external battery (Powerbank) of 5 volts, optional. These are the same portable batteries used to charge your electronic devices like your smartphone.
Inside the heated garments are sewn carbon fiber plates. This material has many advantages:
- It is stainless, in other words it does not rust. It therefore passes without problem in the washing machine.
- It is ultra-flexible, it resists creases and daily wear and tear, but especially the drums of washing machines. (Yes, them again! 😊 )
- Ultra-light, it is imperceptible when worn
- Finally, carbon fiber diffuses heat in seconds, even if reaching the maximum temperature will take 2 or 3 minutes.
How long does the garment keep me warm?
It depends on the power of your external battery. With a 20000 mAh battery you will heat up at:
- 40/45° for 4 to 6 hours
- 35/40° for 6 to 8 hours
- 30/35° for 8 to 10h
How to use it?
- Open the pocket and connect the USB interface to a power bank.
- Press and hold for 3 seconds to start the heating system.
- Press the button again to adjust the temperature, 3 adjustable heating levels (low, medium, high).
- To stop it, long press the button to turn it off, then unplug the power cord.
Care instructions
- Remove the 5 Volt battery, add a neutral detergent and wash it by hand (rub gently, rinse) or in the washing machine. (max 30°c, no spin)
- Do not bleach, do not turn and dry, do not iron, do not dry clean, do not bleach with chlorine.
- Let dry on a dry hanger do not wring by hand.
- To recharge the battery, plug it into the mains using the included USB charger.
Warranty
The heating system integrated into all our heated clothing is guaranteed for 2 years. If for one reason or another, it should fail, we will replace your suit on the spot!
Finally for the most skeptics who don't yet know about heated clothing
Be aware that the feeling of heat felt is soft, and diffused evenly. No unpleasant hot spots felt.
There is no risk of overheating, electrocution or even radiation from the battery. The batteries used are of a voltage of 5 volts (Low voltage) completely safe and harmless.
